Rockingham County: Restrictive Noise Laws Proposed

VCOM’s staff attended the August meeting of the Rockingham County Board of Supervisors to argue against the adoption of restrictive noise laws. The proposal under consideration by the Board would affect motorcycling both on and off road. The Board delayed action, and appointed a committee to evaluate the issue further.


Prince William County: A Potential Impasse for Commuting Motorcyclists

VCOM Director Jim Cannon attended the September meeting of Prince William County’s safety committee to monitor the status of – and demonstrate our opposition to -- a proposal to prohibit motorcyclists from riding within a designated area during certain hours. The proposal would especially impact motorcyclists commuting to their jobs. Check this space for further developments.
